Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy Machine

The Latest Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy Machine

We have implemented the latest devices. Utilizing these devices, we treat kidney stones and urinary stones.

Who Tend to Develop Stones?

Males tend to develop urinary stones more frequently than females. Males 30 - 60 years old and females 50 - 60 years old tend to develop urinary stones more often.

The Method of Treating Urinary Stone, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)

This is a method of treating urinary stone without surgery. A shock wave is applied from out side of the body to break the stone into smaller pieces without damaging muscles and other organs. The broken pieces of stones travel through the body to be excreted.

The broken sand-like stones will be naturally expelled with urine. There will be a little strain on the patient's body, however, a great therapeutic effect is expected.

We will use X-rays or ultrasound to aim the shock wave at the stone.

The stone may disappear by one treatment, however several series of treatments may be required in some cases.
